The Marner PE curriculum has been designed using Youth Sport Trust guidelines. They have put together a range of documents on how to introduce PE safely back into the curriculum post COVID-19. 

Our curriculum includes PE activities that can be done individually or in pairs/small groups with a focus on the development of physical competence and actively learning the importance of personal skills to support social, emotional and mental wellbeing. We also give every child access to our traversing wall and climbing wall over the course of the year.

We are currently developing our PE curriculum at Marner to make sure that it accurately reflects the passion we have for PE and the vital role it plays in every childs’ development. Our aim is to help all pupils continue to access PE even if they cannot attend school and our home provision of PE is currently under further development.
