Children's Book Project

Marner has been receiving books from 'The Children's Book Project' for many years, when they were a small charity. They have grown nationwide and are now distributing books for children's pleasure across the nation.
Founder Liberty Venn is a researcher and parent of two children living in West London. In the course of her work with literacy-oriented charities and with children’s publishers, she became aware of the positive role that early access to books plays in children’s development and in their outcomes.
The Children’s Book Project is a registered charity. They work with settings across the UK to redistribute thousands of new and gently used books to children and their families. This year they will gift over 550,000 books. As a partner school, Marner accesses a structured program designed to foster a lifelong love of reading and improve educational outcomes.
