Introduction
The Governing Body works in partnership with the Headteacher and school leaders to ensure Marner Primary School provides the best possible education for all children. Governors provide strategic leadership, oversee financial performance, and hold leaders to account for standards, safeguarding, and wellbeing.
Our Governing Body is made up of parents, staff, representatives from the local authority, and members of the local community.

Committees
- Curriculum & Standards Committee – monitors quality of teaching and learning, curriculum development, and pupil outcomes.
- Finance & Resources Committee – oversees school budget, staffing, and premises.
- Safeguarding & Inclusion – ensures statutory safeguarding duties are met and supports equality, inclusion, and SEND provision.
