Parental Engagement
At Marner we have a long tradition of positive Parental Engagement. We value our parent voice and excellent communication with parents.
We offer:
- Coffee mornings each week often feature a guest speaker or just to chat and meet other parents.
- Courses including Family Learning; Strengthening Families; Emotional 1st aid
- Curriculum information sessions – on Phonics, Reading and Maths
- Online safety for parents
- Triple P and routines
- Meet the teacher sessions at the start of term
- Parent days
We also sign post parents to the many offers available in the borough. Details of what’s on offer during each term are communicated through our
Dojo system and emails are available on our website. This year we are launching our 'Friends of Marner' Parent Association.
We are inviting any parents who would like to get involved to run a parent group who can fundraise for the school through events such as the Winter
Fair, the Summer Fair, more ideas are welcome. It will be your group. Please email school and sign up!
