Marner was part of The Southbank Centre's 'Imagine the future' project. 

Pupils across Years 5 and 6 enjoyed workshops delivered by poet educators. This was part of a project to celebrate 75 years since the 'Festival of Britain' (1951), was held at The Southbank Centre. Six pupils from Marner were successful in having their poems published in an anthology that was printed as part of the project.

Poetic lines were taken from children's work and printed on the side of the building. Pupils visited the centre to enjoy a showcase.
