Attendance
Attending school every day and on time will give your child the best chance of succeeding in education. It is a skill for life. We expect 100% attendance.
Every week we celebrate the class with the highest attendance in each phase and they win the football pitch. Every week we celebrate individuals who have
attended all week with our ‘in it to win it’ event in celebration assembly where any child who has attended all week can win a treasured 100% badge if their photo comes up. It’s very exciting!
If getting your child to school is difficult, we can help. We offer support from our Attendance and Welfare Adviser and School Attendance Lead. We are happy to
meet with you and your child and work out how to make it better. Please do ask for support. Wherever possible, make sure medical appointments are made outside of school time.
We follow the Borough policy on zero tolerance for holidays in term time and will always unauthorise requests. Requests must be made in writing and forms are
available from the front reception.
