The day started with stacks of cardboard and junk materials and ended with the most wonderful imaginative inventions.

The 'Day of Play' was a huge success and an opportunity for the children to explore ideas and work with a range of materials. The themes covered Future Poplar 2040. There were such a range of fantastic creations, from triple-decker buses with swimming pools, playground designs with slides and swings, rotating pedestrian roundabouts, spinning flower gardens, tree houses, a secret underground library with a trap door. Lots of parents joined us for the event, it was so lovely to see you working together with your children. 

Parents said that they loved hearing the interaction between the children and were impressed by how they spoke about their concepts.
